Aeronet gets FCC approval to commence WIMAX Trials.

19, 2006.
Aeronet Wireless Broadband Corporation ,
announces that the FCC has granted the first license to
trial Wimax certified equipment in Puerto Rico.
The License allows Aeronet to conduct Wimax operations
using the 3.65 ghz band.
Following this announcement, Aeronet will start to
deploy Wimax Base Stations in the San Juan Metro area.
High Capacity Wimax service will be offered as part of
the trial.

Aeronet starts Pre Wimax Beta Tests
January 18, 2006.
Aeronet Wireless Broadband Corporation ,
announces the beta testing of the new Pre-Wimax hardware
in the San Juan Metro Area.
Wimax is a protocol
for advanced Wireless Broadband Services. Current
Testing will be done in the San Juan Metro Area with
services at 3,6 and 10 Mbps.
Aeronet expects to
have the Pre-Wimax Services ready for all customers on
1Q 2006.
Aeronet Introduces New Vlan Services
January 1, 2006.
Aeronet Wireless Broadband Corporation ,
announces the introduction of its Virtual Lan Service.
With this new offering, Corporate Customers wishing to
extend their Lan to remote locations or Branches can do
so without virtual tunnel protocols like pptp or vpn.
